Turn a render into a clip.
A still render becomes a few seconds of moving camera, with the room held exactly as it was. Pick a move, press Apply, and double-click the result to watch it.

Start from an image
A clip is generated from a still, so you need one first: either a finished render (see your first render) or an AI sheet that has an image on it.
Select it with a single click, then open the AI Video tab in the side panel. Until something suitable is selected the cards there stay locked, and each one explains what it is waiting for.
Pick a camera move
The presets are camera moves, not restyles. Each one holds the furniture, the materials and the lighting exactly as rendered and moves only the camera:

| Move | What the camera does | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Push in | Slow dolly toward the focal point | The most reliable reveal |
| Pull back | Dollies out | Showing the whole room and its layout |
| Orbit left / right | Arcs around the room | Depth - the space reads as three-dimensional |
| Pan across | Fixed tripod sweep, left to right | Wide rooms and long sightlines |
| Rise up / Descend | A crane move, up or down | A high vantage, or settling at eye level |
| Walk in | First-person entry into the room | Putting the viewer inside the space |
Cards with a real example show a preview on hover, and clicking the card body opens a larger looping version rather than running it. The credit cost is on the card; Apply runs it.
Playing the clip
The finished clip lands on the canvas as its own tile, labelled Video clip · double-click to play.
That instruction is worth repeating, because it is the most common dead end in RoomGen Studio: a clip only plays on a double-click. A single click selects it, exactly like every other tile - so clicking once, seeing nothing move, and clicking again just re-selects it. Double-click and it plays. The same rule is covered in click, double-click and ⌘-click.
Trend templates and stitching
Alongside the camera moves are longer templates that build a small narrative and use your render as the final reveal - a renovation reveal that runs bare room to finished, a furniture pop-in that assembles the room piece by piece, and an unboxing.
Stitch clips combines finished clips into a single video in whatever order you set. It is an edit rather than a generation, so it is free.
If a clip you made is not where you expect it, panning and zooming covers finding tiles that have ended up off-screen.
Common questions
I clicked my video clip and nothing happened. Why?
A clip needs a double-click to play. A single click only selects it, which is the same rule as every other tile on the canvas - so a clip that appears unresponsive has almost certainly been selected rather than opened.
What can I turn into a video?
A finished render or an AI sheet that has an image on it. The clip is generated from that still, so you need the image before you can animate it. The camera-move cards stay locked until one is selected.
Which camera move should I pick?
Push in for a reveal that draws attention to a focal point, pull back to show the whole room, orbit to give a sense of depth and volume. Push in and pull back are the most reliable for a listing.
Does the room change when it animates?
No. Every camera-move preset holds the furniture, materials and lighting exactly as rendered and moves only the camera. That is the point of using a preset rather than describing the motion yourself.
Can I join several clips together?
Yes. Stitch clips combines finished clips into one video in any order you choose, and it is free - it is an edit, not a generation.
